Hannah wins TriStar 2 Aquathlon at Nottingham!

Hannah takes her first win of the season in Tristar 2 at the Nottingham Aquathlon 6th April 2019. She has kindly sent in the below race report – a great result!

“On Saturday 6th April I competed in the Nottingham Aquathlon held at the Nottingham University Campus. I was very impressed with the amazing facilities and I was excited to swim in their lovely pool and wearing our new Beachborough Tri Suit which is so comfortable.
 
However, the pool was very shallow which made tumble turns interesting! 
 
I am competing in my first year of TS2 and I am looking forward to the longer distances. The swim was 250 metres which went well. This was followed by a quick transition and then out onto a quick tarmac run. The run consisted of 2 laps of a hilly circuit and 2km distance overall. 
 
Having completed the aquathlon I checked my standings to find that I had won my first TS2 race which I was so proud of. This was a fun event and I am looking forward to the rest of the season”. Hannah
